Mr. Michael Clack, the Director of Education at Orbital Education Group, recently delivered impactful workshops on youth mental health and safeguarding to WAT’s secondary students, primary and secondary teachers.

With extensive experience as a licensed and qualified assessor, instructor, and trainer in safeguarding and first aid for youth mental health, Mr. Clack is dedicated to help fostering a safe and supportive educational environment in all Orbital School all over the world.

His workshop for secondary students at World Academy of Tirana, focused on raising awareness about youth mental health, equipping them with essential knowledge on recognizing mental health challenges, coping strategies, and the importance of seeking help when needed. By engaging students in meaningful discussions, Mr. Clack helped to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues and empower young individuals to take proactive steps toward their well-being.

In addition to working with students, Mr. Clack conducted a specialized workshop for teachers on safeguarding and well-being. This session provided educators with vital tools and strategies to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment. He emphasized the significance of early intervention, recognizing signs of distress in students, and fostering a culture of openness and support within the school.

Beyond these workshops, Mr. Clack has extended his expertise to the Ministry of Education of Albania, offering his knowledge and experience to enhance national policies on safeguarding and youth mental health in Albania.
