Mirel is originally from Albania and joined WAT in 2025. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2009 and went on to serve in the Albanian Army Special Forces for six years. From 2015 to 2020, he worked at the American Embassy in Tirana, followed by five years as a contractor for the Pentagon (2020–2025).
At WAT, Mirel is currently working on developing a comprehensive security system to ensure the safety of both the school building and its students.
