Sirjusa is from Albania and joined WAT in 2025. With over 20 years of teaching and leadership experience, she has spent more than a decade working extensively within the International Baccalaureate (IB) and American Program education systems. She has contributed significantly to teaching and leadership across the MYP, DP, and AP programs. Over the years, Sirjusa has held several leadership roles, including Secondary and High School Vice Principal, DP CAS Coordinator, Head of Department, and Whole School Safeguarding Lead.

Her extensive educational background includes a Diploma in Albanian Language and Literature Teaching, a Diploma in English Language, a Master’s degree in Education Science, Harvard’s Certificate in School Management and Leadership, and the UK’s two-year National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL).

Sirjusa is an active member of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN), serving as a DP Examiner for Literature A, IB Workshop Leader, IB Programme Leader, and Evaluation Leader for MYP, DP, and CP programs. She also chairs multi-programme and synchronized IB evaluation visits, supporting schools worldwide in accreditation processes and leading professional training for IB educators. Additionally, she is a COGNIA Team Visiting Member and a ManageBac Ambassador.

Her contributions extend to curriculum development with IB Language and Literature groups, and she has supported IBDP students globally as a tutor, promoting Albanian culture through Self-Taught Literature courses.

As a certified Global Schools Advocate and Mentor focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Sirjusa believes in recognizing each student’s unique personality and learning potential. She is committed to supporting every learner with empathy, professionalism, and a dedication to educational excellence.
